- Quality Assurance Process – Pre-inspection
The initial step is ensuring the quality of the products selected for ImageWISE’s refurbishing process. Every unit selected has had to pass fourteen stages of rigorous inspections prior to being refurbished. Every component, electronic circuit board, switch, clutch and assembly is thoroughly inspected. Should one of these parts fail during the inspection process, the entire machine is rejected from the program. The last pre-inspection stage is performance, copy quality and stress testing. Each unit will be required to copy two thousand documents without any deviation in copy quality, mechanical failure or jamming.
